This is my “First” video on You Tube! I’ll reference it as (Podcast-1) “Which might be the only one?”

At the age of 83 I have some concerns about the future for my children and grandchildren.

I’m sure there are a few more “Seniors” that may have similar concerns.

Where as I have exceeded my experation date and still have sound mind and a healthy body, I’m trying to leave the little I have acquired over 60 years of working to my survivors with as little as possible going to Government and Legal Services after death.

While researching and reviewing the current plans I have found there to be more questions than answers?

I will outline a few of the concerns that I have: “I will address individually along with any feedback my visitors would like to add or correct any statement I have made in specific Podcasts. “If and when”

The main concern responsible parents have is that when their time comes to pass that their children and their families will be able to provide for themselves and prosper.

As a parent we always want to provide for our children the things we may not have been fortunate to have. We seem to forget that the bare necessities of life are “Food, Shelter, Clothing”, and we often go overboard with the easy credit we have in today’s world.

One of My concerns is that “Public Education” K-12 is not being funded or taught as it once was. Government and History needs to expose the “Good, Bad and the Ugly”. While Reading, Writing and Arithmetic is essential, I also believe that in the last 3 or 4 years in High School that technical training in (Shop) classes like “Trade Skills” should be available for those that work better with their hands.

In my personal case when trying to figure out what my vocation might be I had many choices to decide on.

A) Going to College for degrees to give me an advantage over others while seeking employment at a business.

B) Going to a Trade School to learn a skill that would allow me to work even in hard times.

I do not remember who told me this statement but it stuck with me. “If you learn a trade or skill you will always be able to provide for yourself or your family”.

Personally I took construction and joined a union with a 4-year (paid) apprenticeship program. It wasn’t easy as working hard for 8-hrs and then another 3-hrs of schooling at Jr college was sometimes a chore, but worthwhile in the end.

The company that employed me gave me an opportunity and all I had to do was prove I was worthy, and I found that an easy chore to be the better and efficient worker than my competition at the workplace. I stayed with company for over 30 years and ended up in management.

But this story is not about me as it is about the future of our children and grandchildren.

I will not allow this to turn into a political platform, but to only identify concerns that seem to make it harder to enjoy or sustain a peaceful and prosperous existence in todays world.

The topics I plan to cover will be as follows:

  1. What is the best vehicle to use to move you Assets both personal and physical to you beneficiary before or after death?

2. Why does it appear that when I started my family with marriage in 1964 it seemed to be a little easier than it is today?

    3. Why does everything increase in price, is it inflation or the devaluation of the fiat dollar in America?

More topics will be added or changed as viewers have the opportunity to voice their concerns to More topics will be added or changed as viewers have the opportunity to voice their concerns to.
